Utilizing Data to Advance Equitable Outcomes in Small CTE Programs of Study

Speakers: Marci Rockey, Jason Keist, Colvin T. Georges Jr., and Eboni Zamani-Gallaher

The Program Review Manual includes questions related to the disaggregation of data toward identifying equity gaps in programs of study. Programs that have smaller enrollment numbers can present unique challenges as it relates to analyzing quantitative data toward the advancement of equitable outcomes. These programs can also provide ample opportunities for the inclusion of student voice in program review. Participants should come to this session prepared to define what a small program is in their context and discuss challenges associated with identifying equity gaps in those programs. The facilitators will provide resources and engage participants in activities that are specific to the Data Analysis section of CTE Program Review.
