Mauriell H. Amechi
Visiting Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University - College of Education and Professional Studies
Dr. Amechi's is a native of Chicago who is committed to equity issues and strives to improve the educational outcomes and opportunities for historically marginalized learners. His research agenda, pedagogy, and advocacy focus on issues related to educational equity, college access and readiness, and student success, with a focus on the postsecondary pathways and experiences of underserved youth and adults who have been through foster care.
