Sal Nudo
Communications Manager
Sal Nudo has worked in the writing and communications fields for more than 20 years and began his tenure at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in January 2007 at the University of Illinois Alumni Association. Prior to that he worked as a copywriter for seven years at Hobbico in Champaign. Nudo enjoys promoting the mission of OCCRL through the unit's multiple forms of digitized communications as well as its printed publications.
Nudo was the third-place recipient in 2015 of the Marian and Barney Brody Creative Feature Article Writing Award in Journalism from the College of Media at Illinois and made the Deans List at the end of his graduate studies in August 2016. In his spare time he enjoys reading, writing, playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends.
