Nursing Programs of Study Evaluation

The Illinois Nursing Programs of Study Evaluation assessed two nursing Programs of Study demonstration sites to determine their successes and barriers to implementing Programs of Study.

Goals

This one-year evaluation addressed the following goals:

  • Document the regional sector-based approach to the Programs of Study development process and it’s alignment with the POS Pathway Development Teams.
  • Identify the strengths, weaknesses, successes, and barriers to engagement in Program of Study model development.
  • Provide recommendations on state-produced documents, such as agendas, reports, and resource materials for Pathway Development Teams.
